Germany BMX Worlds 09

I've finally hit a day where I can update this thing.

I managed to blag a press pass, a free ticket in and a lanyard letting me into the ramp areas, so I got some ok photos. All this I have to say is thanks to Duncan Smith from www.therollingimage.com who is a bleeding legend fo' shore, and it was very nice of him to post some of my favourites on his blog on The Rolling Image, so props to him!

first action sequences with new camera

Yay, finally got the 30D out down to the skatepark and to advantage of what i bought it for, the fps!

and i'm very happy with the result, i also got my zenitar lens working, so the sequence shots below were all taken with my new 16mm zenitar lens =]. enjoy!

Santa Pod - Classic Ford Show

Went to the classic ford show the other day at Santa Pod, very hot, very sunburnt, very de-hydrated, very good day.

I took my camera, as always, and got some lovely shots of my good friend Jack 'sparrow' Ford's car.

AND on the way to the classic ford show I learnt a VERY VALUABLE lesson, DO NOT stand in the door, with the door open with only a roof to hold onto on Sam's Van (picture below) while he accelerates around a car, when his car can easily do 140mph and the acceleration is monumental, honestly probably one of the most scary moments of my life.

AND ON AN EVEN BETTER PLUS SIDE, a very nice man from manchester contacted me after I posted a question on photo.net and offered to sell me his 30D for a BRILLIANT price, so I am super stoked about that!

but even though all of this good news is amazing, fed ex decided to send me a letter today and I have been charged £40 from customs for receiving my new sigma from hong kong, which as I am now skint, I have to wait untill the end of the month to pay and HOPE they dont take me to court or send the bailiffs round......

and my zenitar came, but it was for a nikon so i have to buy ANOTHER adapter =[ taking the piss a bit
and still need a 30D!
